When We Are Closed
Outside normal surgery hours, e.g. evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays, medical care is provided by North Wales Out of Hours Service, the recognised out-of-hours service commissioned by Betsi Cadwaladar University Local Health Board.
The service is operational between 18:30 hours and 08:00 hours Monday to Thursday and at weekends from 18:30 hours on Friday to 08:00 hours on Monday.The service is also available for ALL Bank Holidays.
Calls are taken by fully trained staff and mobile patients are expected to travel to an out-of-hours sentre to be seen.

Out of hours cover is the responsibility of a co-operative, ‘North Wales Out of Hours, based at Glan Clwyd Hospital with a satellite at Llandudno Hospital. Please call the usual surgery phone number 01492 592424.

NHS Direct
In the case of urgent need when the practice is closed you can call NHS Direct (0845 4647) to speak to a triage nurse. Your needs will be assessed and advice offered or arrangements made for you to see a doctor.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Call 999 in an emergency. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
